SPAM! January 24 2007

Yesterday (January 23, 2007)
I spent most of the day trying to assemble the gear box. This took awhile because we had a hard time trying to find the correct Alan wrench to unscrew the screw. The problem we had was most of the alan wrenches were becoming round. So that took up most of the time. I stayed after school later than usual to finish it. Thats when we ran into another problem, with the gears touching the cylinder. With that the gears would create friction, and that we don't want. So then we filed down the key so that the gears would be lower.

Today (January 24,2007)
We talked about how we were going to saw the frame of the metal. Which had to be cut at a 45 degree angle so that we can maximize welding. Then after that I had a quest to feed people with spam! With that I had to bargain with Mr.Rupert for slices of bread. We came to the conclusion that I had to give him a slice of SPAM for a slice of bread. Which worked great! I mircowaved the SPAM at 2 minutes then I started to eat and feed people. After I had fullfiled my quest. I set out to get some work done. We cut the frame so that we have 3 feet of metal from tip to tip of the angle.
